Lake Township Police and Perrysburg Police Division are asking for assistance in identifying two males that have been involved in several theft-related offenses in and around the North end of Wood County. These suspects are driving a dark in color Ford Explorer or SUV.

Lake Township Police and Wood County Crime Stoppers is asking for assistance with information pertaining to the fire on 2/17/10 at the Stony Ridge Inn located at 3491 Latcha Road Millbury Oh. State Fire Marshall’s have ruled this fire as an arson. Extensive damage to the building occurred as a result of this fire.

Anyone with information pertaining to this fire is asked to contact Lake Township Police at (419) 666-5500 or contact the State Fire Marshals at 1-800-589-2728. Wood County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1000.00 for information that leads to the arrest of those involved.  On October 30, 2009 around 1445 hours The Advance America Cash Advance on Fremont Pike in Perrysburg Township was robbed. A white male, 5'10" , 175 to 200 lbs mid 30's, reddish blond hair and reddish blonde facial hair entered the store. The subject was wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a blue sweat shirt on inside out.  Once inside the store the suspect pulled a black ski mask down over his face and took a hand gun out of his pocket. The subject fled with an unknown amount of cash possibly  in a red over blue sports car. The car had rods on the trunk for a spoiler but the spoiler was missing. The Perrysburg Police Division is investigating several acts of vandalism that took place overnight from Wednesday night (8/19/09) into Thursday (8/20/09). The suspect(s) spray painted profanities and threatening symbols on residences, street and traffic signs, mailboxes, and the roadway. This took place on Hull Prairie Rd. and the River Ridge Subdivision off of Hull Prairie Rd. and also the McKinley Woods Subdivision. Perrysburg Police Division is asking for assistance in identifying those responsible for thefts from 30 vehicles in Perrysburg. In the early morning hours of Wednesday August 5, 2009 Perrysburg Police responded to 30 calls in regards to theft from autos. These theft reports involve the theft of items such as IPOD's, GPS units, cell phone accessories and purses and all were from vehicles parked in driveways or parking lots. The thefts were concentrated in two areas of the City. One area was the eastside of the city (Valley Brook, Sandy Glen, Heathermoor, etc.) and the other was in the central portion of the city south of Bicentennial Park (Dr. McCauley Ct., Streamview, Wolf Creek etc.).

Perrysburg Police is investigating the theft of two motorcycles on June 18 2009 from the Perry Lake Apartment complex located on Lake Vue Drive in Perrysburg.  These bikes were taken between 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM.  Anyone with information on this,is asked to contact Perrysburg Police Detective Nick Cook at (419)872-7804, or contact Wood County Crime Stoppers.

Wood County Crime Stoppers and Northwood Police is seeking information on a robbery that occurred on May 25, 2009 at the Ameristop Convenience Store on Andrus Road in Northwood. Police are trying to identify a white male, unknown age, who was wearing a black hoody type sweatshirt and a brown colored scarf covering his face along with black sunglasses. His face was pretty much covered. The weapon used was described as being a revolver, black in color, with some rust, and a brown wood handle with an approximately six inch barrel. Wood County Crime Stoppers and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a fire. On 4/16/09, at approximately 3:00 AM, the Weston Fire Department was sent to a residence on Weston Road, between Portage Road and Taylor St. The barn on the property sustained heavy damage as a result of the fire.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office is asking for information pertaining to
the theft of log splitters and chainsaws from different locations around the county. Unknown individuals are taking these log splitters from residences. Some of these have been large enough that they are on their own trailer. Anyone with information on who is responsible for these thefts is asked to contact the Wood County Sheriff's Office or Wood County Crime Stoppers.

Wood County Crime Stoppers and Northwood Police is seeking assistance in identifying the two individuals in the photos. They were involved in a felonious assault that occurred at the Speedway parking lot located at 3402 Woodville, Northwood OH. This assault occurred the morning after St. Patrick’s Day (3-18-09). Further, the suspects were wearing AEROPASTLE hoodies. There was also two females who came into the store with the two suspects. The two suspects in the pictures did assault two victims who were also in the Speedway Store. The victims were struck with an unknown metal object which caused severe lacerations to both. A dark colored pick-up, driven by an unknown third suspect, was seen driving the suspects away.

Perrysburg Township Police is seeking information regarding several recent thefts from the First Solar Construction project located in the Cedar Park Industrial Center just off State Route 795 in Perrysburg

Rudolph Libbe General Contractors have reported that several of their tool trailers and gang boxes have been broken into and tools have been stolen.. These thefts have occurred over the last few weeks. The Mechanical Contractors Association is offering an additional cash reward on top of any cash award granted by Wood County Crime Stoppers. The Northwood Police Department is currently investigating an unarmed robbery that occurred on
4/14/09, at the Rich’s Cigarette Store located at 2551 Woodville Road. The suspect is described as a white male, possibly 6’00" or a little taller, with a thin build and blue eyes. No facial hair / tattoos / eyeglasses were noted by the clerk. The suspect was wearing white socks to cover his hands and a large dark colored down jacket with the hood up. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred on 2/28/06. A 16-year-old male by the name Kelly Norman was found dead along the 3000 block of Stearns Road, which is in the southern part of the county. He was found at approximately 7:45 AM lying along the roadway. He died from injuries sustained by possibly being struck by a motor vehicle.

According to the reports from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, on 10/1/08, a residence located at 14074 Oil Center Rd North Baltimore was burglarized. This burglary occurred during the daytime hours while the residents were visiting their young child in the hospital. Several guns, a WII game, Sentry safe, jewelry box, and several other misc. items were taken.

Perrysburg Township Police is investigating 2 burglaries, which occurred to a pole barn at 24621 McCutcheonville Road (Rt. 199). The barn is on the property of a home which burned down in December 2008. On January 22, 2009 during the overnight hours, subjects forced entry into the barn and stole thousands of dollars worth of hunting and fishing equipment including a Mathews Drenalin compound bow with numerous accessories. Also taken was a Pioneer stereo, amplifier, Kenwood speakers, 2 Stihl chain saws and a jet pack blower along with tools. The same barn was burglarized again on or around March 23 with mainly fishing equipment being taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Curtis of the Perrysburg Twp. Bowling Green Police Division is currently investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 100 block of E. Poe Rd on 2/20/09 at 0351hrs. Two males in their early 20's, possibly Hispanic, forced entry into the residence while the victims were sleeping.

One male was armed with a handgun and a knife and the other male had a wood club. The victims were assaulted. The victims stated that both males were dressed in dark clothing and they left the residence on foot.

North Baltimore Police is investigating the break in of the Masonic Temple on or about 3/16/09 Entry was made by prying the rear door to the building. Several items were taken. However, the most identifiable items are 2 Masonic Rings (jewelry), a Masonic Ritual Book and a marble Flag weight and counter weight. According to the reports from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, between March 9 and March 16, a TV repair shop located at 2341 BRANDEBERRY Road Fostoria was broke into twice. Several items were taken. Some of the items are a Trend Sports Pitching Machine, Post Hole Digger, Log Splitter, RCA Flat Screen TV, Sylvania Flat Screen TV, RCA DVD/VCR Combo, Sylvania DVD/VCR Combo, Cap Machine, and a motion light. The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred on 3/24/09 in Monclova Township on Eber Road. During this offense a medallion with the Steel Workers Union logo was taken. This item was custom made in gold and is fairly large. Also taken were 100 silver dollars. Silver Flatware, a gold and diamond ring, pearl necklace and earrings, 4900 dollars in savings bonds, 900 cash, 10 Harley Davidson Lighters, and a digital camera. Northwood Police Department is investigating a burglary in Northwood of a townhouse on or about 3/31/09. Unknown suspects did remove a large quantity of tools. Some of the items taken would be marked by the owner with his name

(switched from the original short cord to about a 15-20 foot cord) that
has a short in it, packed in its original Grey metal box.
* Several levels with Baker written on the
* A bright yellow Bostitch compressor
* A Black & Decker drill, orange in color
* Several "buckets" of miscellaneous tools
* One bucket, approx 2 gallons in size and white in color,
has ‘Jason Newton’, ‘Newty’ and maybe ‘JN’ written on it.
* There were smaller hand tools in the bucket: Craftsman
screwdrivers, Great Neck wrenches, blk/grn hammer and blue
handled snips
* These tools are relatively new

County Prosecutors Office are investigating the disappearance of Pemberville resident Sheila Main. Mrs. Main was reported missing back in 2006.
